"Longing to Get Life Right"
This week we are going to study Psalm 90. This is a psalm of Moses. Moses had seen a lot in his time. You can imagine Moses writing this psalm after watching the entire wilderness journey of Israel. He had seen complaining and conflict. He himself had made rash and unwise decisions. Like so much of our lives, Israel’s history was often a series of blessings interspersed with a whole lot of foolish choices and bad behavior. There is a time in your life when you just want simplicity and clarity. You long for the striving and the foolishness to end. You want your life to be the way that God intended life to be. Moses longed to get his priorities in order. He longed to get life right. He knew only God could make that happen but that’s where he was. Is that where you are at? Are you weary of squandering your life on empty pursuits and bad choices? Are you wanting God to help you get life right? Our message is called “Longing to Get Life Right.” May the Lord who alone can do this, make this life-changing for all of us.
