CHILDREn’s ministries
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Children’s Ministries
Our Next Gen ministries include children and students ages 0–18, preschool through high school. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with families in pursuit of that mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we create. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids.
Resources
preschool (Birth-4)
Nursery is available during both 9am and 11am services.
In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Sunday School – 11am Service only
While attending Sunday School at Waterbrooke Church, children will participate in a large group environment designed to model corporate worship, prayer, and teaching. Following the large group teaching, children go to small groups with same-age peers and a consistent weekly leader.
Grades K-4 meet for large group lessons using the Tru Curriculum. We are going through Tru Story, which is connecting kids to God’s Big Story.
The kids break up into small groups each week as well to relate with the material at a more personal level. They also get a chance to pray for each other, memorize scripture, and hear more about how God works in our lives.
