What the World Most Needs
God is at work through the gospel of Jesus Christ to establish the church, even in a world in crisis. That is nothing new. From the beginning of the church in the book of Acts, God has used His Word to produce fruit in the lives of people who respond to the gospel with repentance and faith. As a result, the need is to strengthen churches and their leaders to continue the advance of the gospel in the world. In Acts 11:19-30, Luke tells the story of the founding of the church in Antioch, which then becomes the launching place for missions work in the first century. Today, we are called to join this great mission for the spread of the glory of Jesus Christ among all peoples.
