Immanuel: You Are Not Alone
This Christmas Eve, we are going to be celebrating the entrance into our world, and into our lives, of the very God of the universe, Immanuel. God is with us! As we sing and read Scripture and celebrate the coming of God enfleshed in our humanity, we are meant to remind one another that we aren't ever going to be alone again in Christ. Christmas can feel acutely lonely for many of us. However, the truest truth of every Christian's life is this: God never forsakes His children. Come sing, celebrate, and ponder this great truth and let it fill your hearts and the hearts of your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers with peace unlike any other. God is with us!
