This Christmas Eve, as we gather to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, our theme is: Immanuel – You Are Not Alone. Since the beginning of creation, God declared that it was not good for man to be alone. Yet, the dark reality of humanity’s fallen experience is that we have felt exactly that – alone. Sin, brokenness, grief, depression, alienation – all these and more of our common sorrows have
left us feeling alone in the crowd, alone in the world, alone in our pain. None of that went unnoticed by God and in deep compassion and forgiving love, the Father sent His Son into our world, to share our sorrows, to remove our sin, and to reconcile to Himself. He became one of us so that we would never be alone again. This Christmas Eve come and share in song, in word, and in community, the joy of God becoming one of us in Jesus so that we might forever be one with Him… Never to be alone – again. Bring a friend.
